Water Strainers
Water strainers purify, filter, and separate solids and larger particles from liquid streams and flow lines. Large contaminants are defined as 40 microns or greater in size and are clearly visible. Straining protects downstream equipment in multistage operations in manufacturing, processing, and water management. These strainers vary by screen or mesh, size, weight, and materials (plastic or metal). Water strainer styles include: Y (wye), inline, basket, suction diffuser, and temporary.
