An individual may start their career at Acklands-Grainger at one of our 172 branches, in a warehouse support role or in an inside sales and service role. This may lead to a path as a professional salesperson (Business Development Manager, Account Manager or National Account Manager/Business Manager) or a more operationally focused management path involving Branch and District Management.
Many individuals start their careers at Acklands-Grainger in one of our distribution centres, located in Edmonton, Saskatoon, Winnipeg and Caledon. Their duties may include picking and packing product before moving into a shipping/receiving, machine operation or inventory management role. These positions allow individuals to develop a sound foundation of knowledge of the over 120,000 products that Acklands-Grainger sells, potentially leading to a variety of career paths in the organization such as customer service, sales or other support roles in product management or logistics.
